After returning home to Sacramento for a year, Mr. Pavelchik elected to attend Seattle University School of Law upon being awarded a Trustee Law Scholarship. During law school, Mr. Pavelchik spent a year interning with Washington State’s Moderate Means Program, where he would perform case intakes for applicants of moderate income with family, housing, or consumer law issues, and refer them to participating attorneys at correspondingly reduced fees. He obtained his Juris Doctor in 2015.
Mr. Pavelchik has extensive experience with administrative hearings, having spent the first several years of his practice defending Workers’ Compensation claims for employers and insurance carriers. He has appeared in front of numerous administrative law judges throughout the state, consistently achieving optimal results. His experience assessing permanent disability in a variety of orthopedic, psychiatric, neurologic, cardiovascular and other injury cases positioned him well for a transition to medical malpractice and hospital liability defense.
Mr. Pavelchik was admitted to the California State Bar in 2016 and is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and California Young Lawyers Association.
